Get ready for chills, thrills, and unforgettable memories—this year’s Haunted Forest is a Better Than Ever showstopper! From hayrack rides to expanded walk-through nights, we’ve pulled out all the stops to make this season our most exciting yet.

Event Schedule:

Friday, October 3rd - 7:00pm-10:00pm

Guided Walk Through Event 

Intended Audience: Older audience event - 14+ is encouraged. *If you have a smaller child with you who scares easily, you can tell the Guide "Pineapple" and we'll do our best to warn the live actors to tone down the fear factor, however the decorated scenes might be considered scary for them even without the jump scares. 

Step into the shadows and brace yourself for a spine-tingling journey through nearly a mile of haunted woodland. This guided walk-through immerses you in a world of animatronics, eerie lights, haunting sounds, and live scares lurking behind every twist and turn.

Whether you're a thrill-seeker or a brave first-timer, this is your chance to experience the forest like never before. Bring a flashlight, wear your sturdy walking shoes, and prepare to be part of the legend that is the Farmer City Haunted Forest.

There will be no food trucks on this night, however the BMX will have their concession stand open!

Saturday, October 4th - 7:00pm-10:00pm

Guided Walk Through Event

Climb aboard for a classic Haunted Forest experience—our hayrack ride takes you deep into the woods where ghostly surprises await around every bend. With eerie lights, spine-tingling sounds, and live scares lurking in the shadows, this ride is perfect for thrill-seekers of all ages.

Bundle up, hold on tight, and let the tractor lead you through nearly a mile of haunted trail. It’s the ride you know and love… with a few new frights along the way.

It’s the perfect mix of spooky and scenic, ideal for older families, thrill-seekers, and anyone who loves a good scare under the stars. Dress warm, bring your bravest friends, and get ready for a ride you won’t forget.

Food:

Whether you're coming with family, friends, or flying solo, this ride delivers just the right dose of spooky excitement. Dress for the weather, grab a blanket if you dare, and settle in for a chilling ride through the woods.

Not all scares are created equal—and that’s exactly why our Children’s Matinee is the perfect way for families to enjoy the Haunted Forest in the daylight! Held on Saturday afternoon, this special event offers a lighter, laughter-filled version of Halloween magic designed especially for kids.

Here’s what’s in store:

🎯 Classic children’s games to spark smiles

🎨 Face painting & temporary tattoos for spooky flair

Trick or Treating in the Forest!

Intended Audience: All Ages!

This Halloween, the Haunted Forest invites families to enjoy a festive, fright-free walk-through event designed just for trick-or-treaters! Kids can dress up and explore the forest trail, collecting candy from the decorated campsites along the way—complete with costumed characters, playful lights, and just a hint of spooky charm.

 

This is a walk-through only event, so bring a flashlight, wear comfortable walking shoes, and get ready for nearly a mile of magical Halloween fun.

 

The event runs in sync with Farmer City’s official trick-or-treat hours, making it a perfect stop on your Halloween route. Safe, spirited, and community-powered—this is Halloween done right!

Food:

We believe Halloween should be magical for everyone. That’s why we’re offering a sensory-friendly walk-through event designed with comfort, accessibility, and joy in mind. This special experience features a peaceful stroll through the Haunted Forest with lower lighting, reduced sound effects, and no jump scares—just friendly frights and festive fun.

 

Kids can enjoy:

🏰 A bounce house for safe, high-energy play

🌟 A welcoming forest trail with gentle visuals and interactive stations

🎃 A calm, inclusive atmosphere perfect for children with sensory sensitivities

Whether you're seeking a quieter Halloween experience or simply a space to celebrate at your own pace, this event is here to make everyone feel welcome.

This attraction is not recommended for individuals with certain health conditions, including asthma, heart conditions, back problems, respiratory problems, physical ailments, or those prone to seizures. Pregnant individuals should not enter this attraction. Individuals under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to enter. No touching: Do not touch the actors, props, or scenery inside the haunted attraction.

No outside items: Do not bring food, drinks, bags, backpacks, weapons, or illuminating objects into the attraction.

No smoking or open flames: Smoking or carrying any open flames is prohibited on the premises.

Failure to follow these rules may result in your immediate removal from the premises and possible ban from future events.
